Rachel Barringer has been doing bendy things since the age of five, but she did not start training circus until a few years later at age 30. Once she started aerial silks (and other circus disciplines) she became obsessed, and now she performs as an aerialist and contortionist around New England. When Rachel is not in the air and/or upside down, she can be found playing cello, teaching yoga, and hanging out with her amazing chihuahua and cat. She holds a Master's degree in cello performance from the Longy School of Music and performs with contemporary chamber ensemble Sonic Liberation Players. She also sings and plays cello in the Wrong Shapes, a rock band formed by she and her husband Bo Barringer. Rachel is very excited to be a part of the C3 team!
