Coach

Kellyn Morrow

When Kellyn was younger her parents tried to get her into playing sports, but no matter what they tried she would always complain that she was “too sweaty”. One day while watching Kellyn play softball her mom noticed her leaping around the bases and decided to try putting her into dance classes instead. Kellyn has been addicted to the stage ever since. She spent the next 10 years dancing competitively, and then went to Northeastern University where she majored in theatrical performance. It wasn’t until 6 years ago that she discovered circus and aerial arts. Kellyn has been studying circus ever since. Kellyn is passionate about teaching and truly believes that circus is for everyone. She is excited to be part of the Commonwealth Circus Center team where she can continue to share this passion with everyone.

Besides circus, Kellyn also has a passion for anime and cosplay. She has just recently been learning to sew and make her own costumes (slowly). Cosplay photo taken by Beren Jones.

Teacher Bio

Kellyn grew up spending all her free time participating in musicals and dance competitions, and discovered her love aerials when she turned 18. Since then, Kellyn has seen aerials as another way that one can dance, or tell a story. Kellyn’s classes mostly focus on choreography, sequencing, and intentionality in movement, but will also include moments of silliness, creativity, and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone!
