Our Ground Acrobatics classes are designed to teach the foundational skills of tumbling, handbalancing, and partner acrobatics all in one. We’ll focus on basic principles of these acrobatic disciplines to improve strength, agility, coordination, and balance!
Level Pre-requisites for Ground Acrobatics:
Level 1: open, no pre-reqs
Level 2: Students should be comfortable executing a forward roll, backward roll, and cartwheel. Students should be able to kick up to a handstand against the wall and should be comfortable pushing up into a backbend or bridge from the ground. Students should be comfortable either basing and/or flying a two-high (standing on shoulders) and basic thigh-standing counterbalances.
