Adult Classes

Contortion

Students in contortion class will work through flexibility progressions for splits, backbends and more with a close focus on anatomical alignment and stabilizing muscle support. Classes will focus on increasing mobility and range of motion while simultaneously strengthening stabilizer muscles to reduce the risk of injury through over-stretching. Students will work towards their individual flexibility goals within the group setting.

Level Prerequisites for Contortion

Level 1

There are no prereqs for this class, but if you are new to flexibility training, we suggest that you take our All Levels Flexibility class before moving to contortion.
