Alissa Feller

Alissa grew up in leotards and spent her childhood hand balancing on rocks and logs and anything she could find. She was the regional balance beam champion at her high school outside of Chicago, IL. She went on to get her BFA in painting at the University of New Hampshire where she also began climbing rocks and hiking the White Mountains. With a strong desire to collaborate artistically and return to a physical practice she found herself at the New England Center for Circus Arts where she fell in love with the circus community and theatrical expression. In 2011, Alissa graduated from the Professional training program with a focus on Trapeze and Handbalance. Since then she has been performing in street shows, festivals, theatres, and teaching across the globe. In addition to all things circus, she practices modern dance, capoeira, and yoga.

Alissa just returned to the USA from living in Konstanz, Germany for the past 3.5 years. She is excited to join the exuberant circus community here in Boston. You can find right here teaching at C3 and Esh, or hiding in the woods.
