Aerial Dance

Looking for a way to explore creative movement in the air? Ground dancers, aerialists, and anyone excited about moving in new ways is invited to come explore solo dance and ensemble-based dance in the air. In Aerial Dance Methods 101 we will learn methods for improvisation and how to choreograph in the air, all while exploring the space between the ground, the apparatus, and the air. In Aerial Dance Repertoire we will learn existing sequences on mixed apparatus and will focus on varying techniques for performance quality and telling a story up in the air through dance. Come dance with us in the air!
